17 May 2024 is the anniversary of the Beatification of Josemaría Escrivá (1992)

Throughout his life, St Josemaría Escrivá reflected an attitude of complete fidelity and service to the Church, “the same one Christ founded. It cannot be any other”.

Montse Grases was born on 10 July 1941 and died on Holy Thursday, 29 March 1959. Montse’s life was similar to that of any other girl her age, and at the same time it was filled with God. She found Jesus amid her normal everyday activities and gave herself generously to Him.

Blessed Alvaro del Portillo, Saint Josemaría's first successor at the head of Opus Dei, was beatified on 27 September 2014. His feast is celebrated on 12 May, the day on which he made his First Holy Communion at the age of seven in 1921. On this occasion, we offer a Newsletter reflecting his love for the Holy Mass.
